Introduction
Top Dog Developments Limited was founded in 2001 by renowned travel industry experts Steve Miller and Lindsay Gauton. The vision was to launch a travel technology company created by travel people, not just technology people.
Over two decades later and we are still going strong and continue to develop and enhance our product range in keeping with the latest advancements of travel technology.
2024 has seen an overhaul of the company with a complete rebranding, launch of a new website, and we are now exhibiting at trade shows, working with trade press, and attending roadshows and events.
Two of our current team (Steve Miller and John Haslam) have a lot of knowledge of the Elite Travel Group, going back many years to when they were both members.
We would like the opportunity to become a preferred supplier of the Elite Travel Group to provide your members with access to proven, market-leading travel technology products and continue to attend and sponsor your events.
Our services
We offer a wide range of travel technology products and continue to develop and enhance our solutions.
Our Interactive Reservations System is an end-to-end travel management system which has a user-friendly, intuitive interface, and offers real-time availability, search, and book, as well as sophisticated reporting and management functionality. We also offer a comprehensive cruise product for existing cruise specialists or companies wanting to diversify into the cruise market.
We create a range of websites; from static, content rich, enquiry generators for the bespoke and luxury sector, to live, bookable sites for OTAs. Our in-house team are experts in UI and UX design.
Our other products include APIs, cached data, search widgets, interactive e-brochures, Artificial Intelligence solutions such as chatbots, automation, and itinerary builders, CRM integration and marketing tools.
We also pride ourselves on our commitment to bespoke development. While we have existing solutions that can be tailored to meet the needs of most travel businesses, we also undertake any development project to create bespoke systems and products for our clients.
Key team members
Steve Miller – Steve is co-founder and CEO of Top Dog Travel Systems. He has an extensive background in the travel industry where he has been prominent for over 40 years. Prior to Top Dog Travel Systems, Steve notably founded Runway Travel.
Rob Hulley – Rob’s experience is in the media and marketing sector where he has run several successful businesses, as well as technology solutions such as developing his own CRM. Rob joined Top Dog 3 years ago and has been a pivotal part of the relaunch.
John Haslam – John is a former member of the Elite Travel Group, originally joining in 1999. He spent 20 years in travel with 17 of those as a client of Top Dog Travel Systems. He recently returned to the travel industry after a 5-year break in retail technology, so brings a wealth of experience in travel and technology.
David and Graeme Gauton – Brothers David and Graeme are sons of the co-founder Lindsay Gauton and have both been with the business for more than 20 years. They are now director and shareholder respectively and work from our head office to support our customer base.
